Cittadella’s spectacular 30M high oval walls are complete except for Napoleon’s breech. Even that small gap is bridged making a 360 degree wall top walkway, giving great views of the town and surrounding countryside to the Alps on one side and over the plains towards Venice on the other. The towering gates, one a former prison, now a museum, give access to the formal grid of streets that make up the small town (Population 20000)
